Since 1966, stone has been part of our family story.
Since 1966, stone has been part of our family story. Our grandfather, Bouraoui Turki, built his experience among quarries and materials in Tunisia, Italy and Spain. His understanding of stone continues to inform our approach to selection.
Today, cousins Mohamed Arbi Turki and Lina Turki, founders of Maison Aquila, give this heritage a new expression. Our travels around the world share a purpose: to select materials that bring natural character and creative freedom together.
Stone veneer extends this ambition. Lightweight and flexible, it opens new possibilities for interior and exterior walls, furniture and curved volumes, subject to the reference and installation system. Selected translucent references also introduce a dialogue with light.
Maison Aquila is the next chapter: Tunisian roots, a family culture of marble and an outlook shaped by contemporary architecture.
What is Aquila veneer?
Aquila veneer combines a natural stone surface with a reinforcing backing. Lightweight and flexible, it preserves the material’s textures and nuances to dress your spaces.
Can it be used indoors and outdoors?
Walls, furniture and curved volumes offer many possibilities. For a facade or wet area, we help you select the reference, protection and installation system suited to the project.
Which veneers can be backlit?
Only suitable translucent references in the AQUILA LUMINA collection can be backlit. A sample and a test with your lighting help you assess the result.
